Role Detail
Join our dynamic Business Services team in a unique kitchen role located in the heart of Canberra CBD! Here, you’ll have the creative freedom to bring your culinary visions to life as you craft an exceptional boardroom catering experience.
As the driving force behind our catering service, you’ll take charge of planning, preparing, and presenting a diverse array of culinary delights for client meetings, firm events, corporate dining, and seminars. You’ll oversee the catering budget and manage stock levels while ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) guidelines, upholding the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
In this role, you will lead a small team of wait staff, fostering a seamless front-of-house hospitality experience. By setting the standard in a customer-centric environment, you’ll inspire your team to deliver outstanding service and create memorable moments for our clients.
This position is being offered on a 12-month fixed term contract, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm (with some flexibility required for events outside of these hours on occasion)

About You
This is not a behind the scenes role – Liaising with Partners of the firm and external stakeholders who attend events, you will enjoy the blend of cooking plus client facing. This is a customer centric role within a collaborative team that values excellence and a positive attitude.

Although majority of the role is within standard office hours, flexibility to work outside normal hours is required for occasional events.
